ROSATO DI AMPELEIA
Rosato di Ampeleia,
This is a wine that breathes duality. It is born from two lands that speak different languages: one Mediterranean, at La Pieve, where the sea breeze whispers; the other, austere and silent, carved by the ancient volcano of Sassoforte. It is crafted from two grapes that meet gracefully, without overpowering one another, each embracing the other: Carignano, vinified in white with delicacy; and whole clusters of Alicante Nero, steeped in the must and allowed to ferment for as long as needed until their union becomes harmony.
It is born with a soul that expresses itself over time. As a young wine, it stands out for its vibrant freshness, salinity, and brightness that invite you to drink it lightly. But as it ages, it surprises: its character deepens, the nuances expand, and its voice becomes more complex and enveloping. This is a wine that knows how to wait, and those who have the patience to let it evolve will be rewarded.
