Empathy is a silent gift: the ability to listen without words, to feel even before you understand. This is
how this wine was born.

We were about to uproot the oldest vineyard of the estate, a Merlot parcel that seemed to have reached
the end of its cycle. Yet something stopped us—we chose to listen, to wait. And the vineyard answered
with a surprising wine, profound, carrying the unmistakable voice of Roccatederighi.

For years we kept it close, sharing it only with the dearest friends of our cellar. But at Ampeleia we have
gentle souls, and we like to share. Since 2017, we have opened it to our most devoted supporters. It has
become part of our larger story, yet it remains a special wine, to be savored over time, to be experienced
together.
