The heart of our story is a 100% Cabernet Franc.
It’s the wine we grew up with, the one that led us to discover our unique identity. Over time, we’ve guided it through its evolution, letting it fully express its true nature.
Today, it’s the essence of who we are: the gentle strength of our land, authenticity, humility, ambition, and the care we put into everything we do. Each bottle of Ampeleia is a journey through the hills of Roccatederighi, among vines, lands, and gentle souls.
It carries the name of our winery, rooted in the Greek word ampelos, meaning vine. Because it all starts there: with the vineyard.
The wine is the result of work that begins among the vines and finds its fulfillment in the glass.

It has an intense color and perfectly represents the harmonious blend of our different Cabernet Franc plots. It lets the terroir of Roccatederighi “shout gently” with its minerality, while revealing notes of small berries, balsamic hints, aromatic herbs, and spices: deep, with silky tannins.
